Doctor's Bio

Dr. Myron Taranow, DDS

Dr. Taranow has been in private practice, serving the Montclair district of Oakland, for over 25 years. He us a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo School of Dentistry and a retired Commander in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps. He is married and has two teenage daughters.

Through his training with the Navy and his extensive continuing education, Dr. Taranow has kept up with the latest developments in dental techniques and technology. He refuses, however, to "experiment" on his patients and will only implement new procedures and materials after their safety and reliability are proven.

Dr. Taranow is a member of the American Dental, California Dental and Alameda County Dental Associations.
